Migration Patterns of Germany
Throughout the world, many people move and migrate around to different countries. Some are a hot-spot destination where everyone wants to go to and others are run-down places that everyone wants to leave. Germany, as of 2016, is considered a destination, because there are more immigrants than emigrants. Throughout time, Germany hasn't always been a number one choice to go to. People chose to leave Germany because of fear of persecution, fear of natural disasters, poverty, and/or unemployment. People choose to move to Germany from other countries because they have better job opportunity than other countries, and they have a beautiful landscape to live around.
In 1995, There was an increase of 397,654 migrants into the country. Apparently, this was a very popular place at that time..
Move ahead to 2005, Germany wasn't so popular with migration, only receiving 79,142 migrants which is less than 1/4 the amount from 1995.
Fast forward to 2015, there is an increase in the amount of immigrants coming to Germany, up to 100,259 migrants, which is a pretty decent increase from 2005.
From predictions, it has been shown that in 2025, Germany will have more migrants, 119,632 to be exact, most likely because they know that they are losing population and would be forced to rely on immigration to keep the population of the country lively.
